Caledonia is an exploration, development and mining corporation focused on Southern Africa. The Corporation’s primary assets are the Blanket gold mine in Zimbabwe, a base metals exploration project in Zambia (Nama), two platinum group and base metals (PGE) projects in South Africa (Rooipoort/Mapochs).

The Corporation’s business model is to identify and/or acquire properties or projects early in the development cycle which have the potential to become low cost operations, and then add value by developing the asset, either as an operator or through joint venture agreements. The possibility of divestiture in whole or part will be considered at different points in time and will be governed by the benefit to shareholders. Where appropriate, Caledonia will seek strategic alliances through new joint ventures.
